This is a space where you can feel heard, accepted, and supported

Empathy, compassion, and acceptance are at the core of my work. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe enough to be yourself—no masks, no judgment.

I came to counselling as a client many years ago

Having suffered with anxiety and depression for years I decided it was time to address what was the underlying issues. I had experienced a difficult childhood having been around family members that had struggled with their own mental health. It helped me to see that whilst I wasn’t responsible for what happened to me I was responsible for healing this with the help of a counsellor who knew how to work with my past. She helped me understand how it was affecting my life in the present moment and could help me to believe in a brighter future for myself.

Having had this positive experience I wanted to pass on what I had learned and so trained to be a counsellor myself. I qualified in 2009 and have since then worked in education, social services, a rehabilitation treatment centre and now currently working in my private practice both online and walk and talk therapy.

I help adults who are ready to explore what's getting in the way of living a more balanced, connected life. My approach is flexible, drawing from a range of therapies to find what fits you best. I believe therapy should fit you—not the other way around. That’s why I take an integrative approach, combining different styles and techniques to support you in a way that feels right. Whether it’s working through thoughts, emotions, or what’s happening in your body, we’ll use what works best for your unique journey.
